Although we’ve been spending all of our time at home lately, I hope to offer you a little distraction with today’s post (if you’re like me and have been glued to the news). Dresses are a staple of mine in every season and I think the spring season is the best time to shop for casual everyday dresses.

Ok…back to spring dresses 🙂 I typically look for casual styles that I can wear with a simple pair of white sneakers – these have been my favorite this year, or espadrilles. I found this white broderie mini on ASOS and fell in love with the sweetheart neckline and puff sleeves. Statement sleeves are making a huge appearance this spring season and I think they add a sweet, feminine touch to an outfit. When shopping for casual dresses, I look for lightweight, breezy fabrics in silhouettes that are easy to move around in. I’m always drawn to pretty pastel florals like this pink and green midi from Loft or classic stripes like this pink and white poplin maxi from J. Crew.
