After moving to Florida a few years ago, I realized that I needed to be creative when it came to styling outfits for the late spring to summer heat. Since the humidity increases as we get closer to summer, some days wearing pants just isn’t an option. My usual go-to for this season is a breezy dress, but on days when I need a more structured look, I opt for a pair of tailored cotton shorts.
I’ve tried several styles of shorts over the years and found that a 4 or 5 inch inseam is the best for me, especially with elevated or business casual looks.
