One of my favorite sales of the year is here! The Lilly Pulitzer After Party Sale started in stores this weekend and begins online at lillypulitzer.com on Monday, January 7th and Tuesday, January 8th. Trust me, you do not want to miss out on this sale! Lilly Pulitzer has two big sales throughout the year – one in January and one at the end of the summer. The After Party Sales are the *only* time you’ll find items marked down and the discounts during the sale are worth the wait.

Lilly Pulitzer After Party Sale Details
When: January 7th and January 8th 2019. The sale begins at 8am(ish) ET and ends at 11:59pm ET on Jan. 8th

Most of the items available during the sale are pieces from recent collections and everything will be discounted up to more than 50% off! You can find dresses, tops, swimsuits, and more. The LP team posted a sneak peek of a few sale items/prices on their Instagram here and the markdowns are so good!!
Tips for Shopping the After Party Sale
GET ONLINE EARLY // If you’ve never shopped the sale before be prepared…the website gets flooded with people so you’ll want to shop as soon as it begins! When you arrive to the website you’ll be placed in a virtual line – you have to be patient, but the savings are well worth the wait! Also, once you gain access to the sale, do not hit refresh or you’ll lose your place in line. One more thing…it is possible that the site may crash, it’s happened in the past. You just have to be patient {or have a backup device at the ready!}.
BE PREPARED // I’d recommend going ahead and creating an account on their website and entering your payment info. This will make the checkout process quicker so you’re able to snag what you want fast! I like to get online about 15 minutes before the sale begins to sign into my account. Then, I hit refresh at 8am to get in line once the sale opens.
KNOW YOUR SIZING // Once you gain access to the sale, filter by size so you can shop quickly. If you’re new to Lilly, I find the sizes run a bit large so I typically size down. I usually wear size 0 and XXS. Here is a size chart for reference.
EVERYTHING IS FINAL SALE // Please keep in mind that the sale items are final sale only, meaning you cannot return something if it doesn’t fit. It’s easy to go a little crazy during sales like this but I recommend only purchasing the items you truly need. Look through your wardrobe to see what needs a refresh. If you don’t love it, don’t buy it just because it’s on sale.
