A few months ago, I did a huge wardrobe purge and donated several bags of clothing that no longer fit my personal style. Last month I turned 37 and decided to make a few changes to my closet. I felt that some of the pieces in my spring wardrobe no longer reflected the styles I gravitate towards most frequently. I’m a big advocate for curating a closet full of timeless pieces that can be worn time and time again. I prefer investing in quality items that will last over buying into arbitrary trends.
This spring, I decided to be very intentional when shopping for new key pieces to add to wardrobe. I put a focus on purchasing items from businesses that align with my own personal style and values, such as Tuckernuck and Sail to Sable. Both of these are women owned businesses with a focus on elevated classics.
I also purchased a pair of jeans and pants from Ann Taylor’s recent $30 off pants sale. Their petite collection has a great fit and the quality is always consistent.
